Warrior Custom Golf officially announced the signing of John Daly today and will manufacture the new Signature Series John Daly Wedges which he will play on the PGA Tour. For over 14 years Warrior has designed and manufactured their own complete line of golf equipment out of Irvine, CA selling well over one quarter billion dollars in sales. John Daly’s involvement in charity work makes this a great new partnership as Warrior Custom Golf promotes thousands of charity golf tournaments across the US.
Now for the first time this relatively small manufacturer signs their first golf professional to help promote their products in the retail market and is poised to become a new major player in the golf industry. Their commitment to constant improvement in their products and services has led them to develop a high end product line that can compete on the PGA Tour.
“I’ve always said that our products and services have to exceed our competitors for us to thrive in this industry. The character of a company is defined by how you treat your customers; we try to achieve that by providing them a great product and service. That has been my main focus and I have brought together an impressive new management team with over 30 years’ experience to help me steer the company in the right direction,” stated General Manager Pedro Villanueva of Warrior Custom Golf.
John Daly is scheduled to start playing his specially designed Warrior John Daly Signature Series wedges at the start of the 2013 season. “I’m still getting used to my new wedges it’s only been a week but they are awesome! A lot softer and more spin with the copper finish. Thanks to Warrior Golf my new friends,” said John Daly after trying out his new wedges.
John Daly played a big part in developing this new wedge design for Warrior Custom Golf. The clubs specifications have been pushed to USGA legal limits, optimizing the roughness of the face and maximizing the groove depth and width. Look for these wedges flying off the shelves in your local retail stores this summer.
